The Role of the Area Sales Manager:
The Area Sales Manager will be offering the company's Structural Flooring Systems into Merchants, Groundworks, and House Builders. 90% of your time will be focused on account management, while the remaining will be dedicated to new business. Responsibilities include driving profitability by achieving sales targets, generating leads, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will prepare quotations based on customer requirements, including site visits and technical assessments, and provide technical support to customers, assisting in the development of tailored flooring solutions. Coverage includes: South Wales, Warwickshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxford, and Gloucester.
Benefits of the Area Sales Manager:
£40K - £48K, Bonus, Car, Pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The Ideal Person for the Area Sales Manager:
You will have worked as an Area Sales Manager within the Construction Industry, ideally within the Heavy-side / Building material sector selling into Ground workers, Civils contractors, and house builders. You will be accustomed to managing a territory and have experience in managing accounts and winning new business. An advantage would be the ability to interpret building design plans, particularly foundation layouts. You should be a problem solver, with the ability to identify potential increases in sales through customer service and be confident engaging with contractors on site. Coverage includes: South Wales, Warwickshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxford, and Gloucester.
