About The Role As Team Leader, you will successfully lead and manage a team to deliver commercial and operational performance in line with contractual terms and key performance indicators for the Government Key Worker Accommodation Contract. The Team Leader is responsible for the recruitment, training, management and retention of a high performing team, whose success is measured through the quality of the accommodation and customer service provided to our service users. Managing a team of advisors to deliver contractually compliant, good quality accommodation for use by essential workers of the British Government. The Team Lead supports the Team to develop and maintain the skill set required to ensure Landlord and Agents, who hold the obligation and rights to repair, understand and fulfil their obligations. Working from a central base, Basingstoke, with a dispersed national portfolio, the team are required to build and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders and gain expert knowledge of their regions, facilitating an efficient and customer focused approach to repairs and tenancy management. Role Criteria The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing high performing teams, experience in delivering exceptional customer service and the confidence to make decisions independently to deliver positive outcomes. This is a busy role that requires a high level of organisation, resilience and co-ordination. Customer service is a key skill as you will be liaising with a wide variety of 3rd party contacts, key skills in negotiation and excellent levels of time management and flexibility. You will need to have experience of managing a high-performance team, managing people and team building through motivating and positive culture working.
