EH&S Site Lead – Morgan Advanced Materials (Corby, UK) Location: Corby, UK Business Unit: Technical Ceramics (Certech UK) Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm (with flexibility to support other shifts when needed) About the Role We are looking for an EH&S Site Lead to take ownership of environmental, health and safety across our Corby manufacturing site. In this role, you will develop and drive a proactive, high-performing safety culture while ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and company-wide EHS standards. This is a hands-on role where you will spend significant time on the shop floor, working closely with leadership and teams to embed best practice and continually improve our approach to safety, sustainability and environmental responsibility. What You’ll Do Develop and execute a 3-year site EHS strategy aligned with Morgan’s global frameworks and local business goals. Act as the site’s EHS expert, staying up to date with regulatory changes and emerging best practices. Support and coach site leaders and employees on safe working practices, environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring learning is embedded across the site. Own and enhance our EHS management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO14001 & ISO45001. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and act as the main point of contact for inspections and audits. Promote and embed the ThinkSAFE culture, driving proactive engagement in safety and environmental improvement activities. Lead site readiness for internal and external EHS audits. Manage hazardous waste handling and champion waste minimisation projects. Collaborate with other Certech sites and the wider Technical Ceramics network to share best practice and continuously improve EHS performance. What You’ll Bring Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Safety Science, Environmental Management, Engineering) – preferred. Professional EHS certification or diploma (or willingness to achieve within the first six months). Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with direct EHS responsibility. Proven ability to influence and lead in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading thorough investigations. Experience engaging employees at all levels to build a strong safety culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong communication skills, able to clearly present ideas and reports to all levels. Fluent English and excellent interpersonal skills. Why Join Us?
