The role
1. Responsible for the safe transportation of customers and staff both landside and airside.
2. Offer a first-class customer experience, helping to make all customers journeys exceptional.
3. Assist customers with luggage, ensuring that items are safely secure on the vehicle.
4. Adhere strictly to P.C.V. (passenger carrying vehicle) Law and Regulations and the Road Traffic Act as applies, (as covered in Driver Training and P.C.V. Test) so that all statutory requirements are met.
5. Be up to date with current DDA and PCV regulations.
6. Report all vehicle defects or any other parking equipment to the Customer Transport Manager on duty to ensure the safety and comfort of the customers.
7. Report any suspicious circumstances or damaged vehicles observed whilst on route to the Customer Transport Manager on duty to ensure the safety of passengers and meet the customer service standards expected of a gold standard car park.
8. Prepare written official reports as and when requested in connection with incidents if involved or a witness whilst on duty in order to ensure that customer service standards are met and corporate guidelines are completed.
9. Report items of lost property as soon as items are found.
10. Ensure that vehicles are kept clean throughout.
As you can imagine the airport never sleeps therefore, full flexibility is essential as this role covers a 24/7 operation which will include a mix of day and night shifts.
What will make you successful in the role?
Its imperative that you have a clean driving licence and held a PCV licence for at least 2 years.
NVQ level2 customer service, passenger transport would be advantageous.
In addition to this, you also will hold a valid CPC driver validation card with no outstanding modules
