Hours of work: 42 hours per week during term time 20. 5 - 23 hours per week during non-term time We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join our Estates team at our Wakefield College. As a Security Supervisor you will provide an essential front of house service, which will involve providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors to the College. The Security Supervisor role is varied, and no two days are ever the same. As a Security Supervisor, you will undertake security duties to ensure that the relevant campus is opened and closed, secured and alarmed at agreed times and undertake regular patrols to monitor security and reporting any issues through the appropriate channels. You will support the Operations Managers and Estates Team in delivering and maintaining quality service across the group in compliance with ISO 9001. You will also monitor student behaviour, intervening and managing behaviours when appropriate, promoting a positive College ethos at all times and reporting inappropriate behaviour to a duty manager. We are looking for someone who can communicate at all levels and has the ability to remain calm and professional in a range of situations, quickly assessing and diffusing situations in line with Group policies and values.
