Sales Manager – Sweepers Job Type : Monday – Friday Employment: Full Time Permanent Salary : £50k plus bonus & company car Location: Leeds (M62 Corridor) About the role A unique opportunity to join the most successful commercial team in the transport and equipment sector. As part of a dynamic specialist hire and leasing division you will have overall responsibility for introducing and growing a new product line – Road Sweepers. You will be responsible for delivering growth and market penetration. Maximising revenue and margin through proactive management and driving sustainable growth through the addition of new equipment and clients. What will you be doing? Lead prospecting and account management for all customers in the UK Road Sweeper market Grow this new business initiative by attracting new customers and selling new products to existing customers Hit total revenue and contract value targets Identify rental and leasing opportunities with new accounts Identify service opportunities with new accounts Continuously monitor competitor strengths/weaknesses re: services/people/fleet numbers & mix types and exploit available opportunities Create and build long lasting relationships with customer base Manage price increases to achieve profitable growth and minimise credits Work with customer service teams to resolve customer query to 100% satisfaction Work with risk & collections teams to ensure timely customer payment Deliver sales pipeline to assist in effective forecasting for repositioning of assets and capital expenditure Develop product knowledge to assist customers in correct asset selection Remain up to date on technological advances, legislation developments and how these can have a positive impact on both revenue and profits Work with internal functions and marketing to deliver added value product growth Whilst the above outlines the main duties of the post, the list is not exhaustive and duties may need to change in the light of future developments or as directed by management and business needs. Who we're looking for?
