Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal ICA Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of instrumentation and control/automation engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose
* Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
* Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
* Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Sound knowledge ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.
* Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices and national guidance.
