CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT SENIOR CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER PO5 SCP (40-43), £49,764 - £52,805 (subject to Job Evaluation Review in approx. one year) Plus 19% employer pension contribution 1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week Location: Based at Antrim Civic Centre but may be required to work from any Council site within the Borough This is an office-based position and remote working is unavailable MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To be responsible to the Capital Development Manager for the effective management and delivery of allocated capital projects in accordance with the Department's project management procedures and in compliance with applicable statutory obligations and requirements. Assist the Capital Development Managers in developing tender documents and contract administration procedures to keep up to date with the latest industry standards. Assist the Capital Development Managers in identifying efficiencies in the Service Area. Maintain professional knowledge within project management and make recommendations for improvements as and when required. To be responsible to the Capital Development Managers for the accurate and timely production of all information required for Council, Committee, Department or other reports, official returns and performance management as required.
