We are currently looking to recruit Quality Control Warehouse Colleagues for our Dartford Site. The role of the Quality Control Warehouse Colleague is to carry out quality checks on products picked for delivery, reporting any damages or errors. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is met to the highest standard and that picking operatives have followed correct order handling process.
This role is highly important ensuring Order Accuracy KPI’s are achieved, and a customer’s order is 100% correct. Part of the role is to educate and support picking standards ensuring continuous improvement is strived to through in house reporting methods such as Quality Education Conversations.
Although your main focus will be Quality Control, you will also be tasked with general Warehouse Operational duties.
Shift: 06.00am - 14.00pm (Any 5 from 7)
Salary: £25,958.40
This position includes some weekend working, including bank holidays as the depot operates 24/7 therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Customer Order Checking – Checking customer orders are 100% correct. Ensuring all Articles are correct and free from Damage.
* Supporting Picking Standards – Feeding back to operatives & Management of errors found and improvement measures needed.
* Stock Transfer – Ensuring correct stock transfer process is followed if replacement stock is needed for TSP.
* General warehouse duties – Duties such as outbound sled wrapping, hygiene, pallet banding, picking, inventory stock checks and lane/bay marshalling.
* Operating MHE – Use of MHE equipment to perform warehouse duties.
* Working in a team environment - Working in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
Person Profile:
* Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to read and understand instructions.
* Ability to count accurately to enable the correct checking of stock.
* Have a keen eye for detail and passion for ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
* Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely.
* You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work.
