Stopford are recruiting for a Lead EC&I Engineer to join the team to work with highly skilled professionals who are constantly striving to deliver excellence and best practice.

This full-time permanent position is based in Knutsford, with opportunities for hybrid working. Occasional travel may be required.
The Lead EC&I Engineer role:
Reporting to the Project Group Engineering Manager, this engineer will oversee all aspects of EC&I design and engineering delivered by the Project Group.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Building and developing a team of EC&I engineers and designers.
* Preparing, checking, and approving design work packages, including diagrams, schedules, and specifications.
* Managing installation contractors and equipment suppliers.
* Oversight of onsite construction and commissioning support.
* Ensuring quality, standard, and budget compliance.
* Participating in project design reviews and risk assessments.
Requirements for the Lead EC&I Engineer:
* Ideally educated to a degree level in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
* Experience in managing design and engineering environments across electrical, control, and instrumentation.
* Knowledge of working with LV distribution, control systems, networks, and architecture.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK (with no restrictions).
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must achieve and maintain SC clearance.
