About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) to join our dynamic team at a well-respected care home in Maldon CM9. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse looking to take the next step in their career and play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality care.
As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, maintain compliance with CQC standards, and lead the clinical team in delivering exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strong leadership and support to nursing and care staff.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
3. Manage clinical responsibilities, including assessments, care planning, and medication administration.
4. Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines, CQC standards, and company policies.
5. Support the Home Manager in managing budgets, audits, and staff training.
6. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
What We’re Looking For
1. Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
2. Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a care home or healthcare setting.
3. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
5. A compassionate and proactive approach to elderly care.
