About the Role
Simply Education is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioners to join an exceptional early years setting in Manchester (M17 1JE). This nursery is well-regarded for its high standards of care and commitment to fostering a stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. The setting focuses on providing a holistic approach to child development, ensuring each child's academic, emotional, and social growth is nurtured in a safe and creative space.
As a Childcare Practitioner, you will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring children's learning experiences are both fun and educational. With flexible roles ranging from short-term assignments to long-term placements, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and rewarding environment, with many positions leading to permanent roles.
Requirements
Minimum six months' experience in a nursery or early years setting (enthusiastic newcomers are encouraged to apply).
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ability to provide a 10-year checkable work and education history.
Right to work in the UK.
Willingness to complete two years of referencing and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.Responsibilities
Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Implement the EYFS framework and deliver structured, age-appropriate activities to promote developmental milestones.
Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through creative play and guided learning experiences.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
