MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to teach all levels of secondary math courses.
* Knowledge of curriculum design and development.
* Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks and Subject Matter Knowledge.
* Such other qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may deem acceptable and appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop daily and long-range plans for each course taught relating them to the needs of the students and the district and state learning standards.
* Implement a variety of instructional techniques to ensure student engagement and achievement.
* Implement the school and department's grading and reporting policy. Keep accurate and appropriate grading and attendance records.
* Develop effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Develop and implement curriculum objectives based on the learning standards of the state curriculum frameworks.
* Evaluate each student's progress in mathematics skills and understanding.
* Communicate with parents and counselors about the progress of individual students.
* Establish and maintain standards of student behavior.
* Effectively manage classroom operations.
* Accept supervision and guidance from the Department Head and Principal.
* Continue to grow in the position through attendance at meetings, conferences, seminars, through readings in professional literature, and through enrollment in college or university courses.
* Accept assignments in other areas for which trained or licensed.
* Such other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal and/or Department Head.

SALARY: In accordance with the FEA Unit A Contract
