As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Junior Artworker to join our creative team.
As an Artworker, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality files for production, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency and impeccable attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to create effective signage solutions that meet client specifications and technical requirements.
* Location: Signs Express (Bristol), Unit 4, Avonbank Industrial Estate, West Town Road, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 9DE
* Salary: From £22-24,000 per year pro rata dependent on experience
* Working Hours: Part time position, 20-25 hours per week
* Travel: A full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential for local travel

Key Responsibilities:
* Create, adapt and prepare artwork for various signage applications, ensuring files are print-ready.
* Work closely with the production team to ensure artwork is formatted correctly for manufacturing processes such as vinyl cutting, large-format printing and CNC routing.
* Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and client specifications.
* Conduct final artwork checks to guarantee accuracy, colour consistency and quality control before production.
* Liaise with clients to understand their artwork requirements and provide recommendations where necessary.
* Maintain an organised workflow, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Assist in developing creative design solutions when required.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, software updates and production techniques.
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
What we need from you:
* Previous experience in an artworker role, preferably within a signage, large-format print, or graphics production environment.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
* Strong understanding of print production processes, colour management and file preparation.
* Knowledge of vector-based artwork and working with cut paths for vinyl cutting and CNC routing is highly desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for typography, layout and composition.
* Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into high-quality artwork.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients professionally.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
* Passion to progress and develop with direction from our creative team.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms (beneficial but not essential).
