Your role will involve building trust, helping pupils to develop confidence, and supporting them to overcome barriers to learning. Using your Team Teach training, you’ll help manage and de-escalate challenging situations to ensure a safe and structured learning environment. Alongside teachers and school staff, you’ll assist with lessons and activities, ensuring that each pupil has the opportunity to engage, grow, and achieve their potential. Your patience, resilience, and ability to relate to young people will play a crucial part in creating positive outcomes. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work around your schedule while gaining valuable experience in a range of educational settings. To be successful, you’ll need a current Team Teach qualification and experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
