Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Operative from a manufacturing / engineering environment.
We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer– Main Duties:
Skills & Experience:
· Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
· Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
· Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required
· Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment
· Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
· Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage
· Knowledge of Siemens 840C / 840D control systems and 611 drives
· Providing breakdown cover - electrical and mechanical
· Electrical fault finding and repair of production machines
· Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work
· PLC fault finding ability
· Identifying and leading improvements to processes
· Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules
· Fault identification and reporting of faults on CMMS system
· Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard
· Electrical installation work to current wiring standards
· Maintenance of building electrical services / office infrastructure.
They require an Electrical Maintenance engineer with a minimum 5 years’ experience.
Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:
· Strong fault finding ability
· Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· City & Guilds 17th / 18th Edition
· Good IT skills – CMMS experience an advantage but training will be provided
Salary / Hourly Rates:
3 shift 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am
£40K to £44K
Successful candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test before starting.
