We are seeking anexperienced and highly motivated nurse with a passion for palliative and end-of-life care to join our hospital-based Palliative Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established and dynamic multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing specialist advice and support to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
About you
• Have significant experience at a senior level in palliative and end-of-life care.
• Hold a degree and a palliative care qualification.
• Possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Are committed to continuing professional development and education.
• Are working towards or willing to complete physical assessment and independent prescribing within the first 1–2 years.

As a Macmillan Palliative Care CNS, you will:
• Provide expert clinical support to patients with both malignant and non-malignant disease.
• Manage a caseload of patients with specialist palliative care needs.
• Contribute to education, research, and the implementation of national guidelines.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Support a 7-day specialist palliative care visiting service within the hospital.
