Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated teaching assistant to join our client secondary school based in Salford. This position is set to start from September, with the opportunity for a permanent role.
* Full-time teaching assistant position.
* Immediate start, upon registration with Teaching Personnel.
* £1670 - £1800 per month, dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
* Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fee).
As a teaching assistant, you will assist the class teacher with general classroom routines, such as preparing learning resources, organising the classroom and reporting on academic progress. You will also deliver one-to-one interventions to students who are underachieving or require additional classroom support. This role would be well suited to a graduate interested in a career in education or an experience teaching assistant looking for a new role within a high-achieving and supportive secondary school.
What you will need:
* Experience supporting students aged 11-16.
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
* CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
Located in Salford, this secondary school is easily accessible via public transport links and by car (on-site staff parking).
