We are looking for a passionate and innovative self-starter to lead the Green Travel and Transport theme within Our Pathway to Net Zero strategy and support the transition up to 95% of our corporate fleet of vehicles to electric alternatives and implement broader sustainable travel and transport policies and behaviours across the organisation and our supply chain. About the Role: Acting as a key point of contact for advice, queries, and support on EV transition working alongside our Fleet Team. You will lead the engagement and communication with company vehicle drivers to prioritise transition and answer any queries in partnership with the fleet team and our fleet management partners. This role will also entail a great deal of data integration so a strong knowledge of the use of excel, data analysis to inform evidence-based recommendations is essential. Role Criteria: Lead the 'Green Travel and Transport' theme within the Our Pathway to Net Zero strategy Identify and lead the implementation of initiatives to reduce travel emissions across all areas of our operations. Lead the EV transition plan in conjunction with colleagues in the Net Zero and Fleet teams, including the identification and prioritisation of company vehicle drivers for transition to electric alternatives. Project manage specific EV transition sub-projects in branch locations. Manage projects and relationships with our clients, colleagues and external specialist partners. Provide specialist advice and support to our Fleet Team. Seek opportunities for external funding and financing initiatives. To be considered for this role you must: Have a good standard of general education (or equivalent), including English and Maths. Experience and track record of EV fleet transition and associated infrastructure implementation ideally for a large-scale fleet. Experience of fleet management. Experience of implementing service and behaviour change in a fleet context to reduce deployment, costs and emissions. Experience of working effectively with third party fleet management organisations to implement projects. Client relationship management experience. Leading and/or delivering outstanding customer focused services. Extensive experience of excel, data analysis and evidence-based recommendations It would be advantageous if you had a fleet management qualification and have a Membership of a relevant professional body.
