Mergers and Acquisitions Associate - Generalist M&A
Responsibilities:
* Perform in-depth analyses of cash flows, quality of earnings, net debt and working capital
* Manage client relationships, lead Q&A sessions, and develop detailed data books for due diligence reports
* Oversee client engagements, aligning work scope with client vision, while meeting tight deadlines
* Assisting team seniors on executing transactions, including transaction structuring, process management and driving deal execution
* Involved in all deal aspects, from origination to completion, including drafting IM's, preparing pitch presentations, holding the pen on modelling and supporting senior management throughout the M&A process
Candidate Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions
* Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage complexity and juggle priorities across multiple parallel work-streams
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
* Strategic creative thinking to effectively resolve problems
* Analytically minded and quick to learn in high pressure environments
* Confident and highly motivated to excel in the workplace
* Very strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
