Construction Project Manager Location: Glasgow Salary: £60,000 (DoE) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic project management team. This role offers the chance to take the lead in delivering high-profile construction projects while working closely with key stakeholders, supply chain partners, and site teams. The Role: Oversee and manage the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to an exceptional standard. Provide clear communication of project objectives to all team members. Establish effective lines of communication for project monitoring and reporting. Liaise and collaborate with project stakeholders to build long-term relationships. Mentor and support project team members to develop their skills and capabilities. Lead and participate in key project meetings covering design, procurement, construction, and commercial aspects. Report project status, key issues, and performance objectives to senior management. Monitor and manage project progress, programme milestones, and interdependencies. Implement performance tracking methods to measure productivity and quality at all project stages. Ensure all digital reporting tools are kept up to date. Assist in commercial management, including cash flow, payment milestones, and contractual terms. Monitor procurement processes and supplier performance alongside commercial teams. Set high standards for project quality, ensuring all specifications and regulations are met. Ensure all health and safety processes are adhered to, including CDM compliance. Requirements: Proven experience in project management within the construction industry. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital project management tools. Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required. Desirable Skills: Experience with prefabrication or modular construction methods. Knowledge of contract law and construction regulations.
