Your Role as a Design & Technology Teacher: Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Design & Technology across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Teach a broad curriculum, including Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, and Resistant Materials. Encourage students to develop creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of real-world applications of design and manufacturing. Support students in achieving high standards of coursework and examination results. Organise and participate in extracurricular clubs, competitions, and STEM events to enhance students' learning experience. Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching methods and resources. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with QTS (or working towards it). Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching across different areas of DT, such as Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. A passion for hands-on, practical learning and the ability to inspire creativity in students. The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community. An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
