Abatec are currently assisting our client, an international, Civil Engineering contractor who are responsible for delivering Major Projects at Hinkley Point C.
As a Project Manager, you will lead and inspire a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team toward achieving shared goals. In this pivotal role, you will identify and implement the most effective strategies to meet customer and project objectives while managing constraints in time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits. Your leadership will ensure success across all facets of project delivery.
As Project Manager you will:
* Produce Programme of works, and detailed schedules.
* Assist the team to develop construction methodology, SSHEQ procedures, RAMS and ITP’s.
* Obtain suitable resources (Labour, Subcontractors, Plant and Materials) to execute the work.
* Assist the commercial team to develop forecast budgets and manage actual cost.
* Assess programme and productivity achieved and review weekly, acting where appropriate and reporting any changes.
* Ensure handover information is being produced in readiness for handover

* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil engineering projects.
* Strong knowledge of standard contract forms and their application.
