My LGPS client in the North West is looking for an interim pensions manager to cover a maternity leave over the next 9-12 months.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage LGPS pensions processes and operations.
2. Ensure compliance with the McCloud Remedy Judgement.
3. Provide support during the transition period due to reduced handover.
Qualifications:
1. MUST have previous LGPS pensions experience.
2. Previous pensions management experience within County/District councils.
3. Solid understanding of the McCloud Remedy Judgement.
The position has scope to operate on a remote basis; however, ideally, the candidate would attend the office based in the North West once a week.
