Clinical Specialist Practitioner/Coordinator for MND

This is an exciting part-time Band 7 position within the community, based in the JCR team in Hastings and Rother. Applications are open to fully registered professionals in nursing or allied health fields, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will collaborate with boundary health services and will receive support from the Sussex MND Research and Care Network. They will work alongside people living with MND and their families throughout their journey.
Support for developing clinical skills, areas of special interest, and opportunities for supervision and practice education will be provided, depending on experience. Regular supervision and training for professional development are available.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
* Health and Care Professions Council Registration
* Postgraduate training in relevant areas such as orthopaedics, working with older adults, or specific disabilities like Parkinson's, MS, or Dementia
* Evidence of comprehensive CPD to master's level or equivalent experience and knowledge
Experience
* Substantial post-registration experience at Band 6 within relevant specialties
* Experience of multidisciplinary working
* Experience of multi-agency liaison
* Experience in community rehabilitation
* Experience delivering training or presentations
Skills
* Highly specialized clinical skills in the area of specialty
* Commitment to team working and staff development

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro-rata.
