Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Governance and Assurance Lead to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.
Role details:
* Job title: Governance and Assurance Lead
* Contract length: 12 months
* Location: Derby
* Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Working with the Programmes and Central PM community to help develop the future state of PM assurance.
* Conducting 2nd Line of Defence Portfolio assurance across the RRSL business
* Conducting targeted assurance activity to provide confidence, ultimately to the RRSL Executive, that Programmes and projects are being governed appropriately and that their Programme management capability (people, process, and tools) is adequate.
* Carrying out assurance activities on Oracle Primavera P6 plans
* Delivering of the Defence RRSL Total Assurance Plan.
* Acting as a single point of contact for Programme Lifecycle Management and PM Assurance.
* Providing the 2nd Line of Defence assurance that the business has established, and is maintaining, Programme control systems, with performance and compliance metrics.
Qualifications
Experience:
* Be experienced in a project and/or programme delivery roles.
* Experience in Oracle Primavera P6
* Experience in Assurance and/or Auditing functions.
* Experience and understanding of Project Controls.
* Experience in Risk Management

**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
