Qualifications
1. The qualified individual should have 2 years of relevant experience, be highly organized, great at motivating people, have strong communication and computer skills.
2. Verifiable work and professional references (being eligible for rehire).
3. Pass a criminal background check.
4. Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
5. Have your own reliable vehicle.
6. Mature, compassionate, caring, punctual and reliable.
7. Must be able to read, write, speak English.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
2. Provide assistance with personal care.
3. Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
4. Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
5. Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
6. Recruiting and on-boarding caregivers.
7. Maintain employee files, perform background checks.
8. Run ads as needed; find new media sources to run ads.
9. Mine recruitment databases weekly for new caregiver applicants.
10. Track responses to all ads and other recruitment sources.
11. Routinely identify new avenues to recruit caregivers.
12. Takes on-call as scheduled.
13. Cover emergent shifts as needed.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
