Job Description
We’re looking for someone with experience in the FMCG markets to lead business development in the UK for our Pallecon business. We provide containers and liners for storage and transportation of liquids –mainly used within the FMCG world; food, production and cosmetics.
Ideally based in Manchester or near our manufacturing plant in West Brom you’ll will be working with Production directors and looking to set up a trials and offer our product solutions. As a solutions based sales role, you could have a commercial or operational background the key skillsets will be a customer focus and ability to work with many stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
1. Increase revenue (containers + liners) in UKI,
2. Managing a wide portfolio of customers in the food industry and cosmetics,
3. Prospect for new opportunities in targeted sectors/markets and manage sales funnel. (SalesForce),
4. Engage with the pallet team to create a process for generating leads through their customer contacts
5. Work with pallet account managers to create a great customer experience for multi-product customers
6. Develop and execute a clear plan dedicated to your local market to increase revenue,
7. Implement new Liquid solutions (Containers + Liners) and provide technical support to customers in trials related to CHEP solutions,
8. A clear relationship builder with curiosity to improve and develop your customers business,
9. Capable to manage a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally – contacts might range from a production operator to the owner or business unit director,
10. to build and maintain the relation with peers in the pallet sales/commercial team to maximize opportunities in the market
11. Clear driver of progress and adding value to your customers supply chain with the ability to be agile and learn on the fly. Ability to understand customer’s needs through regular dialog and visits and translate needs into a value proposition,
12. Contribute to an intelligence information loop about competitors, market trends and product innovation.
What you’ll need;
13. Proven track record in sales and account management,
14. Working history in the food or food processing industry,
15. Stakeholder management, with experience in handling supplier relationships
16. Bachelor or similar in Business, Food Science or Logistics,
