More detail about the role The post holder will be responsible for assisting the therapy staff in screening, applying, and monitoring treatment programmes of delegated patients within a broad framework laid down by and as directed by the supervising therapist. The clinical support worker may not receive daily supervision and should be able to take some responsibility for their work and that of others. To work within the multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure that the input is integrated into the patient's overall care We seek two enthusiastic and proactive individuals for the Band 3 Senior Therapy Support Worker post within the Community Rehabilitation Team in WEB (WOODBURY, EXMOUTH and BUDLEIGH). 1 X full-time and 1 X part-time. Experience and relevant skills in caring for people would benefit this role. You will be working flexibly and available for seven-day service delivery. You will play a fundamental part in improving people's lives when they are most vulnerable. You will work with Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists to set goals, support patients by enabling them to maintain their independence, dignity, and well-being, give advice and support, and provide rehabilitation. In return, we will provide you with robust induction support and the opportunity to develop with the guidance of experienced senior staff. We actively support CPD for further career progress. As a new Band 3, you will have support from the qualified therapy staff and our existing therapy assistants to develop your role and skills as part of the team. Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekSeven-day Service delivery. Successful Candidates will be expected to work one Late shift a week and one Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every four weekends. Part Time- 22.5 Hours.
