The ideal candidate will be an experienced Corporate dealmaker of 7+ years’ PQE, with proven technical skills and a solid track record of leading on good sized transactions. This role would suit a driven lawyer with a network of contacts and the potential of a strong client following, and someone who enjoys engaging in business development. You’ll have a hands-on approach to supporting a diverse range of clients, from start-up’s to SME’s and well established businesses, as well as both outstanding client care skills and the ability to manage a varied and complex caseload.
Responsibilities
* Offering expert legal advice to clients on a range of corporate matters including mergers/acquisitions and disposal of assets or shares, investments, sale and purchase agreements, management buy-ins/-outs, joint ventures, succession planning, business structures, banking/finance, corporate governance and business start-ups.
* Collaborate closely with clients and play a key role in managing corporate transactions.
* Draft and negotiate contracts and appropriate legal documents.
* Support team and firm growth through coordinating and engaging in business development activities.
