What are we looking for…
As a Business Development Manager within Airco, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and improving the company’s market position. The role involves market research, lead generation, and strategic partnership development to expand the company’s customer base and market share.
Location: Hull – Please note this role requires national customer coverage.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Identify and Target New Business Opportunities:
o Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new markets.
o Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
o Analyse competitors and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth goals.
o Present and pitch the company’s services/products to potential clients, highlighting their value proposition.
o Negotiate terms and close business deals to meet revenue targets.
3. Relationship Building:
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
o Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any concerns.
o Attend industry events and conferences to foster new relationships and build a professional network.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork:
o Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to align business development strategies with company goals.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new lead generation strategies and optimise the sales funnel.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market analysis.
o Track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary.
Skills & Experience:
* 3-5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Full UK driving licence.
