GBR Recruitment Ltd in Lincoln is recruiting for an experienced time-served Building Services Electrical Maintenance Manager (M&E) to work in a senior management capacity for a well-respected, highly progressive Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor.
This M&E Building Services client operates locally across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire & East Midlands, working on behalf of a large variety of clients within the Commercial, Education, Industrial, Retail, Health Care, Blue Light sectors, plus other Private & Public sectors. This key role involves running maintenance projects & service contracts (SLA's), managing small works projects, and leading a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver high-quality complex electrical installations for small SMEs, major national businesses & local authority organizations.
You will successfully lead the Electrical team (M&E / MEP) to deliver 5-star standard Mechanical projects OTIF, with a focus at all times on high-end customer satisfaction, quality of workmanship & commercial viability. You will be an Electrical Guru, accustomed to delivering Electrical maintenance works to high-quality standards.
Additionally, you will carry out electrical requirements site surveys, estimates & quotes for small works, plus provide Engineers & clients technical support / advice.
Experience of working directly with clients as a main M&E contractor, as well as delivering M&E sub-contracting services to other building contractors / M&E companies would be ideal, as the client works with a mix of both, delivering M&E projects OTIF.
Electrical Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage electrical maintenance projects, ensuring timely delivery of the maintenance services within agreed budget and to the highest quality standards.
2. Lead a team of Electrical Engineers & Electrical sub-contractors.
3. Plan and deliver maintenance works.
4. Conduct site surveys, provide small works quotes / estimates, plus give Electrical Building Services technical advice to clients & internal Engineers.
5. Read / interpret technical M&E drawings.
6. Develop and maintain robust client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction & fostering long-term business partnerships.
7. Monitor & track M&E maintenance projects progress, identify any potential risks / problem solving.
8. Ensure strict compliance with on-site health and safety regulations & industry standards at all times.
9. Complete all required maintenance documentation / reports.
Required Electrical Maintenance Management Skills:
1. Strong Electrical Maintenance Management experience within M&E or other Engineering services.
2. Experience in pricing up works & conducting site surveys.
3. Electrical Engineering qualifications & ECS / CSCS card.
4. Able to provide MEP Technical guidance & advice to the team, plus clients & suppliers.
5. Able to pass Enhanced DBS check & Police Vetting.
6. Comfortable working from the Lincolnshire office & out in the field on clients' sites within a 50-mile radius.
7. Adaptable & flexible with MEP work tasks, in a small team.
