We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team in Skelmersdale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
2. Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
3. Work closely with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
4. Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
5. Assist with managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive outcomes.
6. Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and support where necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual.
2. Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential).
3. Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
4. A commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
