Job Purpose
To support the relevant General Sales Manager and National Account Managers to develop account plans and exploit new opportunities to match the Princes’ proposition with their business needs.
Principal Responsibilities
Supporting Sales Management in all elements of the process including developing existing listings, generating new business, managing product launches and steering promotional activities to deliver the turnover budget
In connection with Sales Management, support the implementation of tight account management and administrative procedures including; sales forecasting, price file maintenance and contract management.
Training in how to develop customer relationships and raise customer awareness of the Princes Organisation and brand portfolio
At the request of Sales management assist with the implementation, review and revise detailed customer plans which will drive the achievement of the account full year sales budgets
Act and behave as representative of the Princes business in all dealings with external customers
Able to work productively with colleagues from other departments specifically marketing, buying, supply chain and finance
Gather and communicate relevant account information
Role Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Commercial experience in account management would be an advantage
Graduate calibre
IT Literate, with SAP analytics and reporting knowledge
Self motivated, with strong organisational and time management skills
Personable, tenacious and resilient
Project management experience would be an advantage
Achievement orientated with an ability to negotiate and persuade others
