As an Account Manager your role is to act as the primary contact point between assigned customers and the business, develop strong working relationships within customer portfolio by delivering exceptional and consistent levels of service. You'll be developing and maintaining an understanding of assigned customers, communicating any significant changes, commercial opportunities, or advantages to your line manager while establishing confident and trusted relationships with assigned customers. You will gain a thorough understanding of customers within the company portfolio while managing/supporting customer review and negotiation meetings. All customer requirements will be captured and processed in line with the operating planning rules (OPR's) while also being communicated to the relevant departments. Within this role, you'll act in the company's best interests, ensuring all relevant charges are captured to improve business performance, service delivery, financial management and quality for customer portfolio. You will handle customer complaints and internal issues in a prompt, professional and sensitive manner while assisting with the investigation and completion of responses to these complaints. Customer claims and credits are to be processed on the appropriate systems. In this role you will work closely and effectively together with Customer Service team, Operations team, Transport Team, and other individuals across the company to ensure that the way of working is in line with Americold’s strategy and guidelines.
