Base pay range
Location: Bristol, UK – Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

About the Role
Alexander Lyons Solutions is searching for finance professionals to join a global Shared Services Center in Bristol. We are looking for both an experienced R2R Team Lead and multiple R2R Associates to play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements in a fast-paced, international finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS/UK GAAP standards.
* Maintain the general ledger, ensuring correct classification of financial transactions.
* Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
* Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, SOX controls, and external regulations.
* Assist in internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation.
Process Improvements & Automation:
* Identify efficiency improvements in the R2R process through automation and standardisation.
* Support finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
* Work closely with finance, tax, treasury, and business teams to provide financial insights.
* Collaborate with shared services teams across different regions for process alignment.
Who We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in R2R, Financial Reporting, or General Ledger Accounting (preferably in a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment).
* Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a finance team.
R2R Associate:
* 2-5 years of experience in finance/accounting within a shared services or global business environment.
* Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP accounting principles.
* Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
* Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
