Automation Engineer – Collaborative Robotics (Cobots)

Your Role:
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and developing Cobot applications using CAD and virtual simulations
* Creating customised mechanical solutions based on project requirements
* Developing electrical designs, including component selection and circuit layouts
* Programming and integrating industrial devices such as PLCs, safety scanners, vision systems, and sensors
* Creating electrical schematics and implementing control circuits
* Programming Cobots and ensuring seamless hardware/software integration
* Overseeing manufacturing processes and supporting the build phase
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
* Installing and commissioning Cobots at customer sites
* Providing ongoing support to maintain high customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a related field
* Basic CAD and simulation experience
* Familiarity with programming and electrical systems
* Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
* Passion for innovation and a proactive approach
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
* Experience with Robotics or Cobots (preferred)
* Knowledge of Java and/or Python (a plus)
