We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to manage the Complex Safeguarding Team working across Westmorland and Furness.
We are looking for a passionate individual who has the skills to develop, promote and support a Contextual Safeguarding response to Child Exploitation in Westmorland and Furness. They will manage a team of intervention workers and have oversight of all children in W&F where there are Child Exploitation or missing concerns, ensuring procedures are followed so risks can be identified and safety is in place.
You will also work alongside the Social Work teams and a wide range of partner organisations to ensure effective joint working. We are looking for someone who has knowledge and experience of managing complex safeguarding. Candidates must also have experience of liaising with partner agencies to strengthen and develop the Child Exploitation and missing response within a local authority. They will also attend multi-agency meetings and represent the local authority in respect of Child Exploitation and missing.
