Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our Licensing team. In this role, you’ll help boost the visibility of our journal content, supporting both revenue growth and brand reputation. You’ll build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, while keeping our databases and spreadsheets accurate and up to date.
You’ll need to have the right to live and work in the UK.

This role follows our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within commuting distance of our Milton Park office in Oxfordshire (OX14 4RN), with at least 3 days a week in the office and the rest worked remotely. This setup helps foster collaboration while offering flexibility.
Key Accountabilities
* To liaise with editors both internal and external to index their journals in third party products to ensure maximum exposure.
* To work closely with our technical team and customer services department to set up an electronic feed/subscription for delivery of content to comply with contractual agreements.
* ·To maintain and update our editorial spreadsheet so editors always know where their journals are indexed.
* Manage queries/requests received through personal or generic email/phone.
* Support Head of Permissions & Licensing and Senior Licensing Executive to carry out research into different products to expand journals exposure.
* Work with our customer services and accounts department to arrange for invoices to be raised for reports received showing articles and sales and our metadata usage for commercial agreements.
* Work with our current partners informing them of any new titles which we feel would fit in their product.
* Upload new agreements and addendums to our SharePoint database so agreements can be retrieved in a timely manner.
* Update and circulate annual price increases to third party customers to ensure they have information on all new/ceased titles and that they are charging our current fees.
* Work on internal systems to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of journals.
* Support and involvement with departmental projects
Qualifications

The following would be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be provided:
* Basic understanding of copyright
* Interest in or knowledge of the publishing industry
* Licensing experience is a bonus, but not essential
