Job Advert Our Rural client Accounting team are looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join them starting ASAP Our rural team manage a vast array of land and estates across the entirety of the UK. The team are looking for someone who has a passion for working within the Accounting sector as the position we’re recruiting is an all-round Accountancy position where you will be involved with our clients from day one Our rural accounting team work with a portfolio of clients and undertake a variety of bookkeeping and accounting tasks on their behalf. The successful applicant will have a small portfolio of their own clients to look after which adds to the variety and excitement, compared to other accounting roles on the market. These clients could range from a small farm down the road, to large highland estates based in Scotland We’re looking for candidates who have an interest in working within Accountancy or have done so already but are looking for a new challenge. For this vacancy, you must be numerically minded, a confident communicator as well as being professional and diligent. Our successful applicant will be enrolled onto an Accountancy apprenticeship where you will gain a full AAT qualification, fully funded by us. We will also support you throughout this process, giving you on the job training and advice when needed. Accounts Apprentices will be recruited on a three year Fixed Term Contract initially to enable for course completion. What you’ll be doing Processing purchase ledger invoices Reconciling supplier statements Processing expenses Preparing payment runs Ad-hoc payroll tasks Bank reconciliations VAT reconciliations About you Organised with excellent attention to detail Takes pride in their work Grade 4-9 in Maths and English GCSE’s A Level in Maths or Accounting would be desirable Interest in Accountancy and Finance Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel What's in it for you?
