If you have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and the ability to write abstracts for publication, the Griffith Institute would like to hear from you. The Griffith Institute is a research institute for Egyptology and Ancient Near East that has one of the world’s largest collection of archives in Egyptology, accessible both online and to visitors. The Online Egyptological Bibliography is a major collaborative project making available online over 150,000 references with abstracts and/or keywords. This post will assist in the creation and edition of records in the OEB, drawing on a variety of Egyptological publications, and in the development of literature reviews and abstracts. This is a part-time post (0.5 FTE/ 18.25 hours per week), based at the Bodleian Art, Archaeology and Ancient World Library in central Oxford, and is fixed-term for two years.
