Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Geography Teacher in to work in a Secondary School located north of Witney to start as soon as possible in November. This Geography Teacher role is full time, from the February half term until the end of the academic year. This Secondary School aims to instil skills in students such as courage that will last them beyond their time in education. Their curriculum is purposefully ambitious to allow every individual to be challenged to reach their full potential and supported to achieve. Geography Teacher Role: Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these Geography Teacher Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Geography Teacher Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management A relevant Geography or Humanities related degree is desirable.
