An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Telesales Manager at Clear Business. The Telesales Manager leads a fully remote team of agents whose primary responsibility is to generate leads and schedule appointments for our Field Sales teams to visit customers and sell payment services. The Telesales Manager will be accountable to achieve the target number of appointments each month, ensuring the agents work in partnership with the Field Sales colleagues to deliver sales targets.
Location: Fully remote with the option to work in our Manchester or Glasgow office.

Reports to: Sales Director (Payments)
Responsibilities of the role
* Ensure the team delivers all targets and objectives as per the Payment sales plan.
* Ensure the team is fully staffed by actively managing recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts.
* Provide coaching and development for direct reports to enhance both individual and team performance.
* Ensure all team activities adhere to regulatory standards, GDPR guidelines, and quality policies.
* Ensure all reports, system and CRM updates are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Conduct and record open and honest monthly one-to-one appraisals with all team members.
* Address individual underperformance through supportive performance management.
* Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure our product offering supports our growth plans, feeding back on challenges to sales and proposing opportunities to help overcome these
* Work closely with the Data & Insights team to refine and improve reporting requirements and share insights that help shape our contact strategy to deliver enhanced sales performance.
* Actively contributes to refining and improving the teams’ processes and procedures, liaising with internal support teams where applicable to help deliver changes to processes, tools, and strategies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
* Build strong working relationships across the Clear Business colleague community.
Success Measures
* Achieve all commercial targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month).
* Achieve all agreed objectives with positively trending relative key performance indicators.
* Maintain a full headcount, returning an above par score in employee engagement surveys.
* Operate within sales quality guidelines, minimising pre-install cancellations.
* Ensure the team receives above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys.
What you need to have already done to be right for this role
* Previous experience in leading and managing high-performing, high-volume sales teams, preferably within payments, though experience in other sectors will also be considered.
* Previous experience managing teams that deliver appointments for field based sales teams
* Previous experience effectively managing remote teams to deliver sales targets.
* Previous experience in sales team development, coaching, and performance management plans.
* In-depth knowledge of B2B sales processes and best practices, including telephony, lead management, and CRM systems.
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting B2B sales organisations.
