Salary : £38,716.08 per annum (depending on experience) + £5,000 Welcome Bonus
We are currently working with a leading healthcare provider in Stockport, who is looking to recruit experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) for a variety of inpatient wards. The roles are available across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), and a Specialist Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Unit for patients with personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
As an RMN, you'll be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients. Your duties will include:
* Providing Patient Care : Offering high-quality nursing care and acting as the named nurse for a designated group of patients.
* Care Planning and Assessment : Working with patients and their families to assess needs, create care plans, and deliver care that is tailored to individual preferences and requirements.
* Patient Observations : Engaging with and observing patients to assess their progress and identify any changing needs.
* DBT Model Adherence : Promoting and following the principles of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), especially within the DBT unit.
* Leading Shifts : Taking responsibility for the ward when acting as Nurse in Charge, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
* Accurate Documentation : Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring good communication within the team.
* Collaborative Teamwork : Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings and discussions to ensure optimal care for each patient.
* Clinical Governance : Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Active NMC Registration : You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
* Clinical Knowledge : A solid understanding of NMC standards, policies, and best practices in mental health care.
* Experience : Demonstrable experience in mental health nursing, ideally in a similar inpatient setting.
* Communication Skills : Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Team-Oriented : Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexible Approach : Ability to adapt your care approach to meet the needs of individual patients.
* IT Skills : Competence in using electronic systems for patient records and other relevant software.
