The Role
As a Data Flow Analyst, you’ll be part of a small team right at the frontline of our defence work, providing access and dataflow support to intelligence teams. You’ll work at speed and with precision, uploading large quantities of data to multiple systems. And you’ll ensure that data gets to the right people, at the right time, through the right systems.
You’ll work closely with intelligence reporters and multiple national and international partners, building close relationships through regular engagement, always ensuring their data needs are understood, progressed and reviewed. You’ll also be involved in planning and implementing processes and help find innovative solutions to often complex data problems. This is a role with a degree of responsibility and independent working, but you’ll find reward in the significant impact you have on our mission.
About You
To apply, you need:
1. a 2:2 degree (or equivalent qualification) in any subject
2. or experience in a technical role that involves detailed data analysis and report writing
You’ll also be able to show us your technical proficiency and experience with Microsoft Windows, Office and associated tools.
You will be confident communicating with others, both in writing and in person. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines and have experience of formal, professional writing. You will also have familiarity, knowledge or experience of computer networking, dataflow and/or communication systems. Importantly, you’ll be someone with interpersonal and organisational skills, and who actively strives to keep learning.
