Job Description Business Development Associate We are looking for an energetic and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team and support the growth of our business. Specialising in sash window manufacturing, we are industry leaders with over 30 years of experience. Our expertise lies in producing high-quality, timber windows that combine traditional aesthetics with modern innovation. Our products are featured in exclusive residential properties as well as prestigious commercial buildings across the UK. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our reach by attracting new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing ones, and identifying fresh business opportunities. You will also support our innovative approach to product development, ensuring clients receive bespoke solutions that enhance the character and energy efficiency of their properties. Responsibilities • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s mission, focusing on sash window manufacturing and installation for residential and commercial projects. • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities that align with our product range. • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining excellent rapport with existing customers. • Manage client information within the CRM database, ensuring accurate records to support growth initiatives. • Work collaboratively with teams across departments to implement creative sales and marketing strategies. • Develop tailored proposals, sales approaches, and client retention plans that highlight the unique features of our sash windows. • Analyse sales and market data to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the fenestration market. • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and pitches tailored to client needs. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and follow-ups are completed. • Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and networking events to promote our expertise in sash window solutions. Requirements • 1–2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related field (preferred). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines. • Exceptional organisational and time management skills. • Friendly and personable demeanour, with excellent interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. • Knowledge of the construction, glazing, or fenestration industry is desirable. Additional Information • Work schedule: 3 days office-based, 2 days visiting clients in designated areas. • A pool car will be provided for client visits.
