Job Title: Territory Sales - Medical Devices
R&D Surgical is a dynamic and growing UK-based medical device company committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance patient care. We're seeking a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales professional to join our team and drive sales growth in the South of England.
About the Role:
As a Territory Sales representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our cutting-edge medical devices to hospitals across your designated territory. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
* Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our medical devices.
* Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Provide ongoing product support and training to customers.
* Gather and report on market intelligence and competitor activity.
* Attend and represent the company at medical conferences and exhibitions.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
* Attend the operating theatre to support product demonstrations.
* Travel extensively within the territory.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven track record of success in sales, ideally within the medical device industry.
* Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to close deals.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience selling medical devices within General Surgery or Urology.
* Existing network of contacts within the healthcare sector in the UK.
* Knowledge of the UK healthcare market and procurement processes.
Location:
* Field-based role.
* The ideal candidate would be based in the South East of the UK but this is not essential for the right candidate.
