We re introducing this pivotal role for someone who is passionate about building safety and keeping people safe. The focus of your role will be to promote building safety to our colleagues and customers across our buildings, such as in high-rise buildings, as well as extra care and sheltered schemes. The safety of our customers is an absolute priority, and you ll ensure that customers continue to live in safe homes. You ll work in a hybrid way, from our fantastic head office in Middlesbrough, as well as out in the community and from home. Opportunities to buy and sell annual leave. Key Responsibilities: Lead on all customer engagement strategies and campaigns to promote building safety. You ll deliver specific, targeted advice and education to customers. Monitor our compliance position in relation to building safety legislation and best practice. Deliver high quality, proactive and customer focused building safety initiatives. You ll liaise with customers, contractors and stakeholders to share best practice and ensure that the customer voice is heard. Ensure that any investigatory works which are carried out satisfy regulatory requirements. Be the go-to person to provide colleagues with essential building and fire safety advice. You ll also lead and deliver training to colleagues on building and fire safety principles. You ll manage a Building Safety Compliance Support colleague, and you ll also have great influence and input into wider building safety team. About You: Proactive and dedicated to protecting our customers. You ll drive forward continuous improvement to our building safety approach and strategy. Fantastic experience in a building safety role, either an operational, strategic, or in a health and safety setting. You ll confidently engage and educate a range of audiences by delivering training and sharing your knowledge. Hold or willing to work towards a Nebosh Fire Certificate, or an equivalent qualification in building safety. Detailed knowledge and understanding of regulation and legislation across fire safety, building safety and property maintenance, as well as compliance issues. An excellent communicator and negotiator. You ll have first rate people skills and a passion for delivering great customer service. Why Thirteen Group?
