* Salary: £38,367 per annum
* Van (with option for personal use), tools, uniform, PPE & fuel card

You'll be carrying out planned and reactive drainage and pump tasks, including pump fault finding, servicing and repair, to an agreed standard within a defined portfolio of industrial, commercial, and retail properties.
Your role will be to provide first line response to all emergencies during normal working hours and out of hours when on call with support and supervision as required.
You will effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions to fix and escalate where necessary.
You will be responsible for inspection, maintenance and repair of:
* External Pumping Systems
* Internal Pumping Systems
* Macerators
* RWH (Rainwater Harvesting Systems)
* Drainage and Sump tanks
* Electrical systems
* Control systems and wiring
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements and adhering to best working practices at all times is essential in this role.
The position is suited to a self-motivated, forward thinking and strong team player, who is enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best for our client. You will demonstrate effective communication with clients management and colleagues, on the safe delivery and prioritisation of works and represent Arcus in a professional and competent manner at all times. You'll also be able to work unsupervised in a pressurised environment, dealing with store teams and members of the public.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Previous experience of maintaining, repair and servicing pumps and achievement of first fix and maximising equipment uptime.
* A recognised Apprenticeship or qualifications in relevant mechanical or electrical systems
* BS 7671:18th edition - Desirable
* IT literacy, including Smart phone technology
* Awareness of budgeting of parts and material usage
* Actively contributes to the team's targets either individually or by supporting others
* Flexibility and willingness to learn
Other Factors
The post holder must be able to work flexibly, as determined by business requirements and this may involve travelling to other regions within the UK or overnight stays, dependent on business demands
Due to this role being field-based / mobile having a UK driving license is essential
