Teaching Assistant Required for SEN School Starting in January We are supporting an outstanding SEN school in York, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in January. This rewarding role focuses on supporting children with special educational needs, providing emotional reassurance, and helping them thrive in a classroom setting. The Role Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only. Long-term position in a well-regarded SEN school. Primary responsibility: provide one-to-one support for a pupil with high emotional needs, helping them settle in the classroom environment and achieve positive learning outcomes. Additional responsibilities: assist across the wider classroom, manage behaviour, and support all students in meeting curriculum standards. About You The ideal candidate will have: A relevant qualification or experience in working with children. Previous experience supporting children with SEN or emotional needs.
